Plain terms for using BalanceProof. If anything here is unclear, the intent is the reading a careful bookkeeper would expect.

BalanceProof reads bank-statement PDFs inside your browser and produces CSV files for QuickBooks Online, Xero, and generic import. It also runs a reconciliation check and stamps each export with what it could and could not verify.
Provided as-is
The tool is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that a conversion is complete or correct. This is the standard footing for tools in this category, and it is stated plainly rather than buried.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived, and nothing here attempts to disclaim liability for fraud.
The reconciliation gate is a verification aid
The gate shows you which rows do not tie out against the statement’s own balances. It is a check that helps you verify a conversion. It is not a guarantee that the numbers are right or that your books are correct. A verified stamp means the balances the statement printed added up - it does not certify the statement itself.
You are responsible for reviewing an export before you rely on it. Where a statement cannot be checked, the export says so, and you should review it row by row.
Free tier and paid plans
The free tier converts a set number of statement pages each month at full quality, with the reconciliation gate included and no account required. Pro removes the page limit. The current prices are shown on the homepage.
Billing runs through Polar
Payments are handled by Polar as the merchant of record. That means Polar processes the transaction, issues the receipt, and handles any tax such as VAT. You can cancel Pro in one click, you are told before a renewal rather than after, and unused paid time is refunded when you cancel partway through a period.
Acceptable use
Use the tool for statements you are entitled to process. Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload it. The free-tier page count is tracked in your own browser and is easy to reset; please treat the limit in good faith.
